-
- I. Introduction
-
- Are you a busy person? Are you constantly dashing from meeting to meeting,
- switching from project to project, or running from elevator to elevator?
- If so, this screensaver is for you!
-
- The "I'm So Busy!" screensaver will allow you to display on your computer
- screen (while you are busily off to a meeting, of course!) why you are so
- busy, and some consequences of your business. Graphics of busy people and
- environment also "block-in," fade, and scroll onto the screen while the
- text scrolls by at the bottom. If you are in an office with snooping
- individuals, you can password-protect the screensaver using the standard
- Windows screensaver password protection routines.
-
- II. What You Need
-
- To run the "I'm So Busy!" screensaver, you need to be running Windows
- 3.1, WFWG, Windows 95, NT 4.0+, or one of their variations. You need a
- video card and monitor that displays at least 256 simultaneous colors.
- 4+ megs of RAM and at least one spare meg of hard drive space is
- recommended.
-
- III. Installing the Screensaver
-
- To install the screensaver, just run "SETUP.EXE" after you've unzipped this
- archive and follow the on-screen prompts. The "I'm So Busy!" screensaver
- is now installed as your default screensaver.
-
- IV. Configuring Time Delays/Password Protection
-
- To change the time that Windows waits before activating the screensaver or
- to change the password protection-
-
- 1) Windows 3.1 or WFWG. Go into Program Manager, choose the Main group,
- and choose the Control Panel. From the Control Panel, choose the
- Desktop settings.
-
- 3) Windows 95 or NT 4.0. Right-click on an empty area of the desktop
- (you can click on the wallpaper, just not on an icon or running program).
- Choose "Properties" from the pop-up menu. Select the "Screensavers" tab.
-
- You will see a "Wait" or similar text that tells Windows how long to wait
- before starting the screensaver. Simply click on the text box and enter
- the desired amount of waiting minutes.
-
- To add the password, click on the "Settings" button. From the dialog box
- that appears, click on the "Password" button and follow the on-screen
- prompts.
-
- V. But Wait, There's More!
-
- This screensaver is shareware, meaning you have the right to try out this
- program for a limited time (up to 30 days) on a personal machine only. If
- you don't like it, remove the screensaver - no harm done.
-
- But, if you're like most busy people and want to let others know how much
- you keep working, then for $11 you can register this software.
-
- Registration...
-
- 1) Removes all *nag* texts so you're not embarrassed in front of your
- co-workers (or your boss!) who will ask why you can't afford $11
- for such a cool screensaver :)
-
- 2) Adds *eight* more busy-environment pictures to the screensaver;
-
- 3) Adds over 60 more texts to the screensaver;
-
- 4) Adds you to "EP-News" (if you have an Internet e-mail address), the
- periodic mail-out of current Envision Programming events, software
- releases, web updates, and other happenings;
-
- and more!
-
- Want to register using a 1-800 number? On-Line? By mail? No problem!
- Full information is at the bottom of this document.
