  6.     This script is intended to give users the nicest and easiest mIRC
  7. script interface.   Every feature is explained in detail with the online
  8. help, and there are many windows created to make adjusting the script as
  9. simple as possible.  This script is one hundred percent expandable with
  10. the ability to quickly and easily load Hawkee Pro Addons.  Version 2.5 
  11. includes 4 Addons in the package already.  They are: Ratio Fserve, Email
  12. System, Away System, and a Jukebox.  Below is a description of the features
  13. for each Addon.

  15. Ratio Fserve:
  16.  
  17. - Entirely new credit system.  All accounts are stored in the /credits/ 
  18.   directory under separate .ini files.  This eliminates the problem of 
  19.   running out of Variable space.
  20.  
  21. - New Custom Fserve mode:  This will gather information about the currently
  22.   set fserve directory and build a synthetic directory structure where you
  23.   may add file descriptions to each file within your fserve by typing /des.
  24.   The directory listing will appear much nicer to fserve users, but this is
  25.   only recommended for smaller fserves.  Directories with more than 50 to
  26.   100 files will cause an extreme speed decrease in the script.

  28. - Download stats:  The script now records and counts the number of times 
  29.   each file has been downloaded.  You may also compile a listing of
  30.   the top downloaded files.  This list will automatically maintain itself,
  31.   but it will slow down the performance of the script if you require it
  32.   to maintain a list of more than 50 top downloads.
  33.  
  34. - Fserve users may now use wildcards when getting files.  It will now accept
  35.   combinations of the following:
  36.  
  37.   get *.*        Attempts to send every file
  38.   get s??.*         Sends all files with 3 characters that start with "s"
  39.   get *.mid        Sends all Midi files
  40.   get song*.mid        Sends all Midi files whose name starts with "song"
  41.  
  42.   These wildcards will be accepted, but will only send files until a credit
  43.   or max get limit has been reached.  Somebody may type get *.*, but will only 
  44.   get the first 2 files if their credits run out.
  45.  
  46. - You may now offer random files from a directory you choose to whatever
  47.   channel you choose.  Will only offer files to one channel.
  48.  
  49. - Now gives credits back to somebody when the file they downloaded times out
  50.   or stops.  This will only give credits back for files they spent credits on.
  51.   No credit redemption for free files.
  52.  
  53. - You may check the number of times any file has been downloaded by typing:
  54.   stats filename.ext
  55.  
  56. - New info center where you may control the credits and access for any user.

  59. E-Mail System:
  60.  
  61. - Entirely new interface.  Easier to set up and use
  62.  
  63. - Stores up to 5 email accounts in order to check mail.
  64.  
  65. - You may now reply to an email message (content of original message will be
  66.   attached to reply)

  68. - You may now forward an email message to another email address.  You can 
  69.   choose to add comments to the message, or you may simply forward it.
  70.  
  71. - When checking email, the script will resume from where you last left off.  
  72.   If you have 10 messages on the server and you had only read the first 4, the 
  73.   script will start from message #5.
  74.  
  75. - There is no longer a limit to the length of a message you wish to send.  A
  76.   window will open up where you may enter your email message.

  79. Away System:
  80.  
  81. - This now includes a pager system which has two different modes.  The first
  82.   mode is Notify mode:  This will open up a window above your desktop with 
  83.   the message that was sent so that it may catch your attention (this is only
  84.   recommended for away from mIRC instances).  The second mode is Record 
  85.   mode:  This will record each message sent to you from the page command to
  86.   log files where you may later read them.  When reading the messages, the 
  87.   script will try to determine whether or not the user is still online and
  88.   indicate what channel you may find the person in.
  89.  
  90. - Auto Away will automatically enable your pager when you have not been typing
  91.   inside mIRC for a certain amount of time.
  92.  
  93. - Silent away:  This is enabled only when you are away and will not run any
  94.   timers to tell users that you are away.  It will try to determine when a 
  95.   user is talking to you and notice them with your away message.  The users
  96.   must say at least half of your nick name in order to merit a notice.  So
  97.   if you are away and your nickname is Hawkins, the script will notice the
  98.   user who says something like "Hey hawk, what's up" to indicate that their 
  99.   greeting was not heard by you.

  102. Midi Jukebox:
  103.  
  104. - This will play a MIDI file inside a little window that indicates the 
  105.   duration of the song.  You may close this window and the MIDI will remain
  106.   playing.
  107.  
  108. - Random Play:  This will choose a random MIDI file from your MIDI directory
  109.   and play it.
  110.  
  111. - Auto Repeat:  Current playing MIDI song will repeat until this feature is
  112.   disabled, or if you stop the song manually.  When Random play is selected
  113.   and the current song stops, a new random song will be chosen.

  116.     The preceeding features are all built in Addon form and can be removed
  117. from the script at any time.  You may press F12 to enable and disable features
  118. of the script.  When disabled, the feature will not exist until reloaded 
  119. (meaning all popups and setting boxes will vanish).  The following is a list
  120. of features built into the frame of the script.  This is what the script 
  121. would include if all Addons were disabled.

  124. - CTCP protection:  This is adjustable and will ignore users who attempt to
  125.   flood you with CTCP requests.  It will ignore every CTCP request when a
  126.   multitude of flooders is detected.

  128. - Channel protection:  You may adjust the script to kick people upon text
  129.   floods, action floods, nick floods, excessive cloning or for swearing.
  130.  
  131. - Addon Selector:  When you press F12, the script will scan your /system 
  132.   directory for any Hawkee Pro Addons and allow you to enable to and disable
  133.   them.
  134.  
  135. - Color Selector:  When you press F11, a color selector window will appear
  136.   that allows you to change all of the colors displayed in your script.  
  137.   Various color schemes are listed to make color selection easier.

  139. - Channel Scans:  You may scan channels for clones, IRCops, people who are 
  140.   Away and general information.

  143.     Below is a list of the F-key commands in the script.  You may also
  144. acquire this information by pressing the F10 key.  You may right click on
  145. the F10 window to get detailed descriptions of each feature already in the
  146. script.

  148. F1: Checks E-mail
  149. F2: Sends E-mail message
  150. F3: View and modify Fserve settings
  151. F4: View and modify General settings
  152. F5: View and modify E-mail settings
  153. F6: View and modify Pager settings
  154. F7: Activate Midi Jukebox
  155. F8: Toggles last played Midi song On/Off
  156. F9: Retrieve Pager Messages after away
  157. F10: Brings up the Help Menu
  158. F11: View and modify Color settings
  159. F12: Scans for Hawkee Pro Add-Ons
