  88. The MicroFox Utilities are a shareware program.  This evaluation version
  89. includes all features of the program, and is not crippled in any way.
  90. You may use it for up to 30 days, without charge (see SEE.DOC for more
  91. details).  If you like the program, and wish to continue its use after
  92. this evaluation period, you are required to pay for the program (see
  93. REGISTER.DOC for more details).  Any fee you may have paid to others
  94. (disk vendors, dealers, etc.) to obtain this evaluation version was a
  95. fee for their copying and distribution services, rather than a payment

  120. The installation procedure for the MicroFox Utilities is quite simple.
  121. The package includes a program, "INSTALL.EXE", which automates the
  122. entire process. You will need about 128K of available disk space on the
  123. hard drive on which you plan to install the MicroFox Utilities.

  125. The exact steps you need to take will depend on how you received the
  126. MicroFox Utilties.

  129. INSTALLING FROM DISKETTES
  130.  
  131. To install from diskette(s), you need to perform the following steps.
  132.  
  133.    o  Place the MicroFox Utilites distribution diskette in the
  134.       appropriate diskette drive.
  135.  
  136.    o  Execute the "INSTALL.EXE" program on the distribution diskette.
  137.       For example, if the distribution diskette is on drive A:, type
  138.       the MS-DOS command, "a:install".
  139.  
  140.    o  Follow the instructions presented by the installation program.
  141.       You will have a chance to approve installation before any changes
  142.       are actually made to the contents of your hard drive.  The
  143.       program will ask you for a destination directory, and will copy
  144.       the MicroFox Utility files to that directory. If you so direct it,
  145.       the installation program will install executable programs and
  146.       documentation in other directories of your choice.  It will make
  147.       no other changes; specifically, it will not modify your
  148.       autoexec.bat or config.sys files.

  151. INSTALLING FROM A HARD DRIVE
  152.  
  153. If you downloaded the MicroFox Utilties from a BBS (or received it in
  154. the form of archive files from some other source), you will need to
  155. perform the following steps.
  156.  
  157.    o  Extract the contents of the archive file(s) in a temporary
  158.       directory on your hard drive.  The procedure for doing this
  159.       varies, depending on the form in which you received the package.
  160.       In all likelihood, the fact that you are reading this text means
  161.       that you already have the necessary tools and knowledge to
  162.       perform this step.  If not, you should be able to obtain
  163.       directions for this from the same source from which you received
  164.       the package.

  166.    o  Execute the "INSTALL.EXE" program which you have extracted.  For
  167.       example, if the temporary directory into which you have extracted
  168.       the SEE package is C:\TEMPDIR, you would execute the MS-DOS
