  3.        Sentry V2.2 Changes include:
  4.  
  5.            * Sentry now uses windowed screens for all output, as opposed
  6.              to simply directing output to the entire screen.
  7.  
  8.            * When entering dates, the year is now checked. If it is not
  9.              4 characters, the user is forced to re-enter it. This was
  10.              causing problems with Sentry accepting '96' as a valid
  11.              year, and subsequently not translating correctly.
  12.  
  13.            * A bug with the password encoding scheme has been fixed. The
  14.              encryption used to truncate passwords at length 8, causing
  15.              only the first 8 characters to be recognized. For
  16.              SuperUsers, this meant that passwords over 8 would not
  17.              contain the SuperUser stamp (it was truncated). This
  18.              problem has now been rectified, and passwords are
  19.              significant for MaxPasswordLen characters.

  21.              All in all, this seriously increases the amount of security
  22.              available from Sentry.

  24.              NOTE: Because of the above modification, older versions of
  25.              Sentry cannot use password files from V2.2 and up. The
  26.              reverse is not true however, as Sentry V2.2 can use
  27.              password files all the way back to V1.0.

  29.              Also note that to use passwords over 8 characters, you must
  30.              re-create the old passwords. This can be easily done by
  31.              selecting the "Change Account Password" option from the
  32.              SuperUser menu.
