  2.           BOOKLETS is designed to create PC booklet sized documents from
  3.      full page text files on Laser Printers which emulate the Hewlett-
  4.      Packard LaserJet series.  It prints four pages of the text file on one
  5.      sheet of paper.  The pages are printed "two thirds size" on the right
  6.      and left halves of both sides of a sheet of paper turned sideways
  7.      (Landscape orientation.)  It supports all the standard sizes of paper
  8.      (A4, LETTER, LEGAL, and EXECUTIVE)

  10.           BOOKLETS will perform transformation on basic LaserJet formatting
  11.      commands.  This means that you can use your word processor to print a
  12.      formatted document to a file and use BOOKLETS to print that file in
  13.      booklet form.  For this to be successful, you must have fonts loaded
  14.      in your printer for the sizes BOOKLETS will use.  These can be from a
  15.      font cartridge or may be soft fonts which you have loaded ahead of
  16.      running BOOKLETS.  BOOKLETS does not create or load any fonts.  You
  17.      will need fonts which are approximately two thirds the point size of
  18.      the fonts you use in your document.

  20.           The BOOKLETS Document has been formatted for LaserJet printers so
  21.      it is not easy to read on a computer screen.  You can print a full
  22.      sized version of this document by typing the following command line:

  26.      Booklet can also print this file in a nice PC booklet form.  There is
  27.      context sensitive help, so you may not need the document to get
  28.      started.  Use the TAB key to move from selection to selection and
  29.      press F1 for help.  Press ESC to get rid of the registration screen.

  31.      BOOKLETS is distributed as shareware.

  33.           Shareware is commercial software distributed in an unconventional
  34.      manner.  Shareware isn't free.  If you use it regularly, the authors
  35.      expect compensation.  Shareware allows you to evaluate the product
  36.      before you purchase it.  If you use this product, you are obliged to
  37.      register it.

  39.           Copies of BOOKLETS may be freely distributed in its
  40.      self-extracting form (BOOKLS.EXE.)  No fee, charge or other
  41.      compensation may be accepted for the distribution of BOOKLETS.
  42.      Except, Public Domain Disk Vendors and BBS(s) may charge a nominal fee
  43.      for distribution of the program.  Such charges must clearly be
  44.      labelled distribution charges and the recipient of BOOKLETS must be
  45.      informed that the distribution fee does not relieve the payment of the
  46.      registration fee for BOOKLETS.
