- %
- % All the areas you are connected to will be defined using this file. TerMail
- % will of course automatically adopt new areas and insert all the correct
- % information, so you only need to make modifications if special requirements
- % are needed.
-
- %
- % Path
- % ────
- %
- % All path names without full drive+path will be expanded to the TerMail-path
- %
- % MSG: ECHO\TERMINAT\ -=> C:\TERMINAT\TERMAIL\ECHO\TERMINAT\
- % JAM: ECHO\TERMINAT -=> C:\TERMINAT\TERMAIL\ECHO\TERMINAT.JHR
- %
- % Please note that when using MSG areas you must specify the complete path
- % to the directory holding the *.MSG files. When using JAM you must specify
- % both the directory and the name of the JAM-base. Only JAM-base can share
- % the same directory for several message-bases.
- %
-
- %
- % EchoID
- % ──────
- %
- % A conference-message has a EchoID (also called Tagname or conference-name).
- % It is a special word like "TERMINAT" which is specified inside the messages
- % to enable TerMail and other tossers of importing the message to the
- % right area. Some QWK-systems use spaces inside the tagnames, which we
- % always recommend to avoid since some software is not able of handling this.
- % In this file spaces will be replaced with ^.
- % TerMail handles EchoID's up to a length of max. 60 characters.
- %
- % Flags
- % ─────
- %
- % The flags determine how the conferences are stored/imported/export/
- % maintained. You must at least define a format flag and a type flag.
- %
- % Messagebase format
- % ──────────────────
- % MSG This area is stored in a MSG message base [DEFAULT]
- % JAM This area is stored in a JAM message base
- %
- % Import/export type
- % ──────────────────
- % FIDO This is a Fidonet-style echomail area [DEFAULT]
- % Fido-style packages will be imported and exported.
- % QWK This is a QWK area (Quick packet format)
- % It must be suffixed with a packet name and areanumber
- % Example: QWK DANBBS 2000 will import from DANBBS.QWK and export
- % to DANBBS.REP (your replies).
- %
- % Optional flags
- % ──────────────
- % HOLD If the HOLD flag is set then no messages will ever be exported
- % from this area. Use this for special areas where you are not
- % allowed to write in or just do not ever want mail to be
- % exported from.
- % NOSCAN Do not scan at startup; only when entering area the first time
- % NOLINK Do not link this area
- %
- % Other functions
- % ───────────────
- % @LINE Make a separator between two areas, used to group areas with a
- % common subject / group. You can use mixed case and up to 25
- % characters with several words.
- % Example: @LINE My Favorite mailareas
