  21. ClipXMS allows real-mode Clipper applications to use XMS (extended) memory,
  22. freeing Clipper from its total dependence on EMS (expanded) memory.  Just
  23. link ClipXMS into your application and end your worries about your user's
  24. computer configuration.  Every memory manager configuration is compatible
  25. with Clipper when using ClipXMS.

  52. Demo Version
  53. ------------

  55. This demo version of ClipXMS has been made available to allow you the
  56. opportunity to try out ClipXMS before you purchase it.  When you link this
  57. demo version of ClipXMS into your application, your application will
  58. display the following message at the top of the screen during startup and
  59. pause for five seconds:

  61.      "This application is using a demo version of ClipXMS..."
  62.  
  63. The five second pause is used only to give the user the time to read the
  64. message.  In the release version of ClipXMS, no message is displayed at
  65. startup and no pause occurs.

  67. After about five minutes of operation, your application will quit with the
  68. following message:

  70.      "The ClipXMS demo time limit has elapsed, terminating application..."

  72. As a sidenote, the release version contains less code than this demo
  73. version due to the fact that the demo version has extra overhead printing
  74. the above messages and keeping track of the elapsed time.
