  3. Windows NT, why go to the Program Manager, 
  4. click on File, Shutdown, and then shutdown? 
  5. ShutDown makes it easier by providing the 
  6. same shutdown service NT's Program Manager & 
  7. 95's Start button does. Make it a shortcut 
  8. on the 95 desktop. In Windows NT, put it on 
  9. your Microsoft Office Toolbar. You can also 
  10. run ShutDown from the command line. Great 
  11. for shutting down the computer from a batch 
  12. file or a scheduling program. The standard 
  13. shutdown procedure is used, so don't worry 
  14. about losing data during the shutdown. NT or 
  15. 95 will ask every running application if 
  16. they want to quit or not.
