  5. It┤s a pleasure for us to send you Remote Desktop 2.0 for reviewing 
  6. and evaluation. Remote Desktop stands for our remote control package
  7. for the Microsoft Windows NT 3.51 and Windows 95 operating system family
  8. with the following features:

  11. *       simultaneous connections to several computers by usage of MDI.
  12. *    remote logging on / off of Windows NT based computers 
  13. *       cross remote control (Windows NT3.51 and Windows 95).
  14. *    multiple communication protocols, Async RAS and ISDN are supported 
  15. *       audio conversation across a standard network
  16. *       zoom-functionality for zooming transmitted desktops
  17. *       security editor for configuring access control
  18. *       communication board for messages to other network users
  19. *       independence of display resolution
  20. *       remote installation support 
  21. *    available for Intel / Alpha / MIPS platforms
  22. *    encryption of transmitted keystrokes

  25. The product includes Online Help as well as a setup program for installation. 
  26. We see the main fields of our application in network administration, 
  27. system support, user support and educational areas and it would be a great 
  28. success for us, if you can find our product nice and useful. This is a 
  29. full 20 day evaluation version of Remote Desktop Rel. 2.0 for Windows NT3.51 Intel
  30. and Windows 95 platform.

  32. If you want to use Remote Desktop commercially, you have to order and enter
  33. registration code enabling you to use this version as commercial and supported 
  34. version after 20 day evaluation period. We are looking forward to hearing from you.

  37. Hints for fast installation and starting: 
  38.  
  39. 1) Login your machine as an Administrative account. Start SETUP.EXE and 
  40. install the controller on your machine. 
  41. 2) Install the agent on any remote machine running Windows NT
  42.     a) with remote setup option of Remote Desktop setup from your machine
  43.     b) directly on the remote machine
  44. 3) On the machine you have selected as controller, start the application 
  45.    "Remote Desktop Controller"
  46. 4) Connect to the machine you have installed as agent.

  49. If you have used earlier versions of Remote Desktop please uninstall first 
  50. and install the new version on agent AND controller side.
