  15.    File Plus Ver 1.8 incorporates a bunch of changes that have been
  16.    a long time in coming, including the changing of the primary
  17.    executable file from "DISKUTIL.EXE" to "FILEPLUS.EXE".

  19.    If you're upgrading from a version of File Plus prior to Ver 1.8,
  20.    please do the following before starting the Setup Program:
  21.  
  22.     (1) - Delete any Win95 Shortcuts associated with File Plus
  23.     (3) - Delete any groups for Windows or Win95 that File Plus
  24.         previously made on your system.
  25.  
  26.     P.S. Don't panic, you're config files won't be harmed!

  30. Ver 1.8
  31.     New Function--- File Search! Search for strings or hex values in files
  32.       spanning your system.
  33.     Major bugs fixed in the select by pattern routines.
  34.     File Plus will now check its current directory for its .INI files
  35.     A common-use Tool Bar and info line now appears above the windows.
  36.     Tree Mode displays iconic folders (prettiness feature).
  37.     Clicking on the iconic folders in the tree window will have the same
  38.       effect as double-clicking the entry.
  39.     Added a browse button to the Configure Button Panel, makes tracking
  40.       down that program you want to run a lot easier.
  41.     Directory and Tree window sizes are now adjustable with mouse
  42.       drag in Tree Mode.
  43.     New window size code introduced, should eliminate ALL problems

  157.     This program provides the easiest user interface to date to manipulate
  158. almost all aspects of day-to-day managment of files and directories.

  160.     As a result, it's also EXTREMELY easy to point-and-click thousands of
  161. files and directories into oblivion if you don't pay attention to the built in
  162. safeties.

  164.     As a general rule, all functions in File Plus that can cause files and
  165. directories to be deleted or moved, will ask you for verification first.  For
  166. advanced users, these safeties can be turned off.
