  5. Winsock RCP/RSH are Win32/Windows Sockets versions of the RCP, RSH, and REXEC
  6. utilities normally found on Unix systems.  They will work on Windows NT and
  7. Windows 95 systems.
  8.  
  9. Winsock RCP, or Remote Copy, copies files from your Windows PC to a remote
  10. system, from a remote system to your PC, or between two remote systems.  You can
  11. copy individual files or recusively copy entire directory trees.
  12.  
  13. Winsock RSH, or Remote Shell, runs a specified command on the remote system.
  14. Any output of the command can be displayed in a window or can be directed to
  15. a file.
  16.  
  17. Winsock REXEC is similar to Winsock RSH.  It runs a specified command on the
  18. remote system, but requires you to specify a valid password.
  19.  
  20. The remote system can be a Unix system or another Windows PC running Denicomp
  21. Systems' Winsock RSHD (Remote Shell Daemon).
  22.  
  23. Two versions of each utility are included.  A "console" version of each will
  24. output information to a console window.  Also, a version of each utility is
  25. included that will output to a standard window, allowing you to use scroll
  26. bars, cut/paste to other windows, and store the output of the window in
  27. a file.

  29. You can also use the Windows-oriented interface provided instead of the
  30. command line interface.  Included are VRCP (Visual RCP), VRSH (Visual RSH),
  31. and VREXEC (Visual REXEC).  These are simple interfaces that prompt you for
  32. the required parameters to Winsock RCP/RSH and do not require that you use
  33. a command prompt.

  41. Also available from Denicomp Systems is Winsock RSHD, a Remote Shell Daemon
  42. (Server) for Windows Sockets.
  43.  
  44. Winsock RSHD is a Remote Shell Daemon (Server) for Windows Sockets.  It accepts
  45. command requests from remote hosts (Unix or other PC's) via the standard "rsh"
  46. command and executes them on the PC running Winsock RSHD.  It also allows file
  47. copying to and from the PC via the standard "rcp" command. A special "SendKeys"
  48. extension allows remote control of Windows programs through the standard "rsh"
  49. command, even from Unix.  Security can also be enforced.

  51. Winsock RSHD will also be available as a Windows NT service.  Check with
  52. Denicomp Systems on the availability of the Windows NT service version
  53. of this product.

  59. For Windows programmers, also available is Winsock RCMD.DLL and Winsock RCP.DLL,
  60. which are Dynamic Link Libraries (DLL) callable from almost any language that
  61. allows DLL calls, such as C, C++, or Visual Basic.

  63. Winsock RCMD.DLL provides a function similar to the Berkeley Sockets "rcmd"
  64. function for Windows Sockets.  This provides the ability to initiate Unix
  65. commands from within your Windows program and capture any output from that
  66. command.

  68. Winsock RCP.DLL provides a function that allows you to copy files to and from
  69. remote hosts from within your programs, just like the Winsock RCP command.
  70. It also includes the recusive copy capability.

  72. Both 16-bit and 32-bit versions of each DLL are available.

  74. Example programs are provided for both C and Visual Basic.

  77. TRY BEFORE YOU BUY

  80. Winsock RCP/RSH is not freeware.  You can try it for thirty (30) days.  If
  81. you find it useful, you can register it using the order form included.  If
  82. you do not wish to register it, delete it from your hard disk or pass it
  83. along to a friend who may find it useful.

  85. By registering, you will receive the latest version of the product, a diskette
  86. containing Winsock RCP/RSH, and a printed manual.

  88. The unregistered version of the product is fully functional except for the
  89. following:

  91.    * Occasionally, at random times, a message box will display noting that
  92.      you are using an unregistered version.  You must then click on the OK
  93.      button, and it will then proceed normally.

  101. license is for a single user.  Special pricing for multiple licenses and site

  111. distribute it with your product without royalties or any other fees.

  120. MULTIPLE USER LICENSING

  123. When Winsock RCP/RSH is registered, it is licensed for use by ONE user at a
  124. time.  Special multiple license pricing options are also available.
  125. Pricing is on a per-user basis.  For 2-10 users, $25 per user.  For 11-20 users,
  126. $23 per user.  For over 20 users, $20 per user.

  128. You can also order a site license which allows an unlimited number of users
  129. to use Winsock RCP/RSH at a single site for a single price, $400.

  131. Payments for multiple user licenses must be paid via check or ordered through
  132. PsL via credit card.  The Compuserve online registration system is not set up
  133. to handle multiple pricing levels.
