  67. Thanks for your interest in CMFiler!  It is a product acclaimed by the
  68. media and users alike for the completeness of its file and disk
  69. services, ease of use, small size and lightning speed.  Users regularly
  70. write me that they have replaced their copy of XTreeGold, PC Tools or
  71. Norton Utilities with CMFiler for most of their file management tasks.

  74. features, along with instructions for its installation.  Quite detailed
  75. documentation is included in the package, but it is in archived form,
  76. and is more easily read after installation.

  78. CMFiler is a shareware program written by an author member of the Associ.
  79. ation of Shareware Professionals.  This evaluation version includes all
  80. features of the program, and is NOT CRIPPLED IN ANY WAY.  You may use it
  81. for up to 60 days, without charge.  If you like the program, and wish to
  82. continue its use after this evaluation period, you are required to pay
  83. for the program (see the file ORDER.INF for more details).  Any fee you

  122. CMFiler requires no special installation procedure.  After decompressing
  123. the file set, simply copy the files CMFILER.COM and CMFILER.OVY (the
  124. main program and its overlay) to the directory from which you wish to
  125. run it, select that directory, and type CMFILER at the DOS prompt.

  127. Or, if you prefer, a batch file INSTALL.BAT is provided in the fileset
  128. which creates the directory C:\CF554, and copies the files to it.  It
  129. also copies the file CF.BAT to C:\DOS.  Since DOS should be in your path
  130. specification, you should be able to simply type CF at the DOS prompt
  131. andrun CMFiler.  INSTALL.BAT also includes instructions for adding
  132. CMFiler to a Windows 3.1 program group.

  137. The shareware edition of CMFiler is fully functional and is equivalent
  138. to the registered edition, in order that prospective registrants may
  139. evaluate the program in its fullest implementation.  The shareware
  140. edition is not crippled in any fashion, but does contain usage-sensitive
  141. registration reminder screens.  These screens are easily dispatched,
  142. and in no way indicate or signal any loss of function or capability.

  144. CMFiler has exhibited stable, reliable operation on a variety of
  145. IBM-compatible PC systems, and NoVaSoft has established a reputation for
  146. quickly fixing bugs and implementing user suggestions for improvements.
  147. Copies of CMFiler are running stably in all versions of MS-DOS down to
  148. 3.3, PC-DOS, DR-DOS and Novell DOS, Novell NetWare OS, Windows 3.1 and
  149. 95, and OS/2.

  162. of this VENDINFO.DIZ file is licensed to distribute this shareware
  163. edition of CMFiler without further permission from NoVaSoft.  Any
  164. individual evaluator or registered user of CMFiler is authorized and
  165. encouraged to distribute this edition to other potential users.

  167. This shareware edition of CMFiler is licensed to any user for evaluation
  168. for 60 days.  After 60 days use, the user is required to pay for
  169. CMFiler or stop using it.  CMFiler is not crippled in any way, and
  170. contains no time- or usage-triggered "logic bombs" or loss of
  171. capability.  It does contain time- and usage-triggered reminder
  172. screens encouraging the evaluator to honor his/her obligation to
  173. purchase CMFiler under NoVaSoft's copyright claim, but these screens are
  174. easily dispatched and in no way signal any crippling or loss of
