  4.  o The file BOWLSTAT.CFG should be COPIED to the name of your league.

  10.     Then use the new name for use with BOWLEDIT.

  13.  o When using BowlStat V1.2, make sure the keyboard is in CAPS LOCK mode.

  15.  o To use the Yearly Stats Marker  (BOWLYSM), first change the default parm
  16.    "RECORD STRINGS TO  DISK" from "N" to "Y". This  allows string scores to
  17.    be saved to the disk drive where they can be later analysed.

  22.          Upon  registering, you  will be  entitled to  technical support as
  23.  well as  the latest version  of BowlStat (currently  V1.4A). The Shareware
  24.  version has been vastly improved with the following:

  26.  Major changes:

  28.   o All subprograms  (BowlCSM, BowlYSM and BowlEDIT) have  been merged into
  29.     one program and integrated into the existing menu structures.

  31.   o Bowler database has been increased from  300 bowlers to 891 (99 teams X
  32.     9 bowlers per teram)

  34.   o Function keys added:

  36.     F1 - Online Help System pop-up window.
  37.     F2 - Bowler Names pop-up window.
  38.     F3 - Team Names pop-up window.

  43.   o Scores can  now be entered by Captain Sheet.  All totals are maintained

  66.     systems. (  C:BOWLSTAT 300 /M) sets  BowlStat to hold a  maximum of 300

  71.   o Menu cursor "fixed" to work with slow EGA video cards.

  79.   o If "Enhanced  Bowler Averages" print option is set  to no, bowler names
  80.     will be printed in full (field with permitting).

  82.   o Average sheet "OVERLAYING" to disk drive is supported. This allows full
  83.     cutomization of  the average sheet. User  confirmation will be required
  84.     before appending to an existing average sheet.

  86.   o Captain  Sheets  can  be  overlayed  into  one file. Previous versions
  87.     required each Captain sheet to be in a file of it's own.

  89.   o A Team Name  window will pop-up on any field that  requires a team name
  90.     and an invalid one has been entered.

  92.   o A  Bowler Name window will  pop-up on any field  that requires a bowler
  93.     name (first or last) and an invalid one has been eneterd.

  95.   o New  print  option for  Spares added.  Spares can  now be  omitted from
  96.     average sheets.

  98.   o Captain Sheet printouts will include the handicap for the given team.

  109.     Strings missed now  will print a blank, not "0"  as before. A check has
  110.     been  added to  make sure  a stats  file exits,  eliminating the  error
  111.     encountered when  one was not present.  Modifications made to eliminate
  112.     all errors  produced when a  string(s) contain no  stats.

  114.   o Database dump printout alterd to include new Spare Field.

  116.   o Modification to Team Edit menu option. Both lines of the League Name
  117.     field  will be  cleared. If  no name  defined, "BowlStat  V1.4" will be
  118.     used.

  120.   o Exit  Menu has been  re-arranged and expanded  with a "RESUME"  option,
  121.     making it possible  to restart BowlStat without saving  data or quiting
  122.     and restarting the program manually.

  124.   o Team Standing  output on  average sheets  has been  adjusted to a more
  125.     appealing width.

  127.   o Main Menu modified to display only valid menu selections.

  130.     Initial setting is for all bowler names to be printed.
