  1. SILENT THUNDER DEMO

  5. Silent Thunder is a ground-attack simulation that will allow you to
  6. engage enemy forces in South America, Korea, and the Middle East.  
  7. At your disposal is an array of formidable weaponry which includes 
  8. the A-10's 30mm Avenger canon, Maverick guided missiles, rockets, 
  9. Sidewinder air-to-air missiles, and a wide variety of free-fall bombs, 
  10. including napalm.  High-res graphics and super-detailed terrain, make
  11. getting down and dirty feel like being there.

  13. It is critcal to stay within your mission area.  If you attempt to 
  14. leave the area, you will be warned.  If you continue and exit the 
  15. mission area, you will be given the option to quit (press ENTER), or 
  16. continue flying (press ESC).

  18. This demo was created from a very early version of Silent Thunder and,
  19. while it is representative of the final product, the final version 
  20. will have many improvements including enhanced graphics, game play, 
  21. and frame rate.   The demo allows you to fly in a limited area (shown 
  22. the box in your map display -- press M to see the map).

  33. At the time this demo was created the program had yet been optimized 
  34. for speed, and owners of slower machines may experience low frame 
  35. rates.  The final version will have a higher overall frame rate, and 
  36. will include greater control over detail level, as well as a low-res
  37. mode.

  39. It is highly recommended that you play using a joystick, and that you 
  40. setup and calibrate your joystick from Windows (in the Control Panel, 
  41. click the Joystick icon and follow the instructions).
