Control class components do not generate textures on their own. Instead they generate individual values for regional areas. As a result, the texture preview only symbolizes what the component will produce.
Link the Block parameter of the Pattern component Mosaic to this Control component to see what it does. If you are using a Shuffle component, link its Background parameter to another texture as well.
