- A. Before you install the Windows 98 Service Pack 1
-
- The Windows 98 Service Pack 1 updates your system files and requires
- you to restart your computer during installation. Make sure that you
- save and close all open documents and close all programs before
- installing the Service Pack.

- II. Release notes

- If you reinstall the Windows 98 operating system, you will lose the
- benefits of the Windows 98 Service Pack. If you must reinstall
- Windows 98, make sure that you also reinstall the Windows 98
- Service Pack 1.
