Transcription: When you start a new drawing, Visio asks you what symbols you want to use. Now in this case I'd like to draw a simple flowchart so I select the flowcharting template. You can see that this gives me a drawing page over on the right hand side of the screen and a green stencil on the left. On the stencil you can see a range of flowcharting symbols. All I need to do to create a flowchart is to drag the appropriate smart shapes from the stencil and drop them onto the page.
