  3. ExpPrint is a Windows 95/NT Explorer context menu extension that lets you
  4. print a listing of the files and folder contents. You can print:
  5.  
  6.  - The files and folders that you select
  7.  - A branch of the directory
  8.  - Entire disk contents
  9.  
  10. ExpPrint has comprehensive sorting capabilities, and several options that
  11. let you tailor the content of the printout. You can also generate a text
  12. file that is suitable for importing into a spreadsheet to give you more
  13. possibilities.

  18. Installation
  19. ------------
  20. Note: Before installing this version it's important that you uninstall any
  21. prior version you might have. Be sure to make a note of your current
  22. settings so you can reinstate them. See "Removal" below for details on how
  23. to remove an existing version.

  25. ExpPrint is supplied as a compressed file archive. Copy the compressed
  26. file to an empty floppy disk or new sub-directory on your hard disk &
  27. extract the files. When you have uncompressed the supplied file, you
  28. should have the following files in addition to the original:

  30. ExpPrint.dll    The ExpPrint Context Menu DLL
  31. ExpPrint.hlp    Help for ExpPrint
  32. ExpPrint.txt    This file
  33. ExpPrint.inf    The Setup Information File
  34.  
  35. Select the ExpPrint.inf Setup Information File in an Explorer window and
  36. choose File, Install, or right click on the file and choose the Install
  37. menu item.

  39. Installation copies the files to the target location on your machine and
  40. modifies relevant registry information.

  42. ExpPrint is now ready to use.

  44. How Do You Use ExpPrint?
  45. ------------------------
  46. Once you've installed ExpPrint, whenever you select a file, folder, or
  47. disk drive in an Explorer window you will find you have an extra context
  48. menu item available - "Print Directory Listing...".

  50. If you choose this you will get the ExpPrint dialog box that lets you
  51. configure the settings. Note that an unregistered version does not let you
  52. save or restore any settings, and prints an evaluation banner on the page
  53. footer.

  57. Registering
  58. -----------
  59. For information on payment see our web pages. When you send your order, be
  60. sure to note your preferred email address so that we can send your
  61. registration numbers.

  63. When you receive your registration information, enter your registered name
  64. and number into the About dialog box of the application. You must enter
  65. the information exactly as it appears in the email message - it's easy to
  66. copy and paste the information from the email message into the fields in
  67. the About dialog box. If you purchase the set of utilities, be sure to use
  68. the correct registration number for each product as each one uses it's own
  69. unique registration number.

  71. Any updates to the current version will be free to registered users by
  72. downloading the latest version from the web site. Your current
  73. registration number will continue to work with updates.

  75. Removal
  76. -------
  77. Note: Because the Windows INF de-installer cannot currently delete files
  78. that are loaded in memory, we recommend that you first reboot your
  79. machine. Then, remove the component without first using it. This will
  80. ensure that the files are correctly deleted.

  82. Use the Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs item. Select the ExpPrint item
  83. (listed as "Explorer Print Context Menu (Remove Only)") and click the
  84. Add/Remove button.

  95. hand side of the page, rather than centered, so that long paths aren't as

  107. MFC DLLs that V1.0 used.
