  9. This file describes installing the SyncPro Demonstration.

  18. 1. Overview
  19.  
  20. Sync Pro enables a system administrator to make an inventory 
  21. of all Windows computers on a network and to obtain vital 
  22. information regarding the workstations. All of this is possible 
  23. without manually compiling the information from the workstations. 
  24. All workstations that log on to the server on a network will be 
  25. scanned. The process takes a few seconds and does not interfere 
  26. with the user except if the administrator requests information 
  27. from the user.

  29. The Demonstration version allows you to inventorize one PC (the 
  30. one it is currently running on). Every time the Demo starts, it 
  31. will inventorize the current PC and collate the data into a new 
  32. database. All features of the full version is available, except 
  33. that the demo version creates a new database every time it is 
  34. started and overwrites the previous database.

  37. 2. Installing the SyncPro Demonstration Version

  39. Run the SPDemo.exe file and follow the onscreen instructions. 
  40. After installation, a shortcut will have been created on the 
  41. desktop as well as in the Start Menu, Programs, SyncPro, 
  42. SyncPro Demo. Running this will start the demo.

  45. 3. Uninstalling the SyncPro Demonstration Version 
  46.  
  47. A shortcut is created Under Start, Programs, SyncPro: Uninstall 
  48. SYncpro. Running this will uninstall the demo. The SyncPro demo 
  49. can also be uninstalled by using the Add/Remove Programs applet 
  50. under Control Panel.
