  2. KeyText 2000 v2.16, for Windows 95, 98, NT4, 2000 or ME

  5. KeyText 2000 is a major new version of KeyText, the keyboard
  6. macro and Windows automation program. It has hundreds of text
  7. items available, and has a new "Smart Select" feature.
  8.  
  9. To install, follow the instructions in readme.txt. It is safe to
  10. install KeyText 2000 to the same folder as an earlier version,
  11. but make sure you exit KeyText first, if it is running.
  12.  
  13. If you have purchased a KeyText license, your existing code
  14. will work for KeyText 2000 also.
  15.  
  16. If you were using a 1.xx version of KeyText but have not
  17. purchased a full license, KeyText 2000 will re-set your
  18. evaluation period to give you a full 30 days again.

  25. 2.16    Added new mouse control options: the ability to move
  26.     the mouse pointer to a point on the screen without
  27.     also clicking a button, and the ability to restore
  28.     the mouse pointer to where it was when the item
  29.     was started. The built-in delay after a simulated
  30.     mouse-click has been reduced.
  31.     Added an "Add" field to the Combination of keys
  32.     wizard, so that more than one key combination can
  33.     be selected without leaving the wizard.
  34.     Added the "application key" to the keypresses which
  35.     can be simulated by KeyText. This is the key which,
  36.     when pressed, normally brings up an application's
  37.     pop-up menus and help topics - similar to the effect
  38.     of a right mouse-button click.
  39.     Added the ability to specify a password in the
  40.     command line, so that users who want to start a
  41.     password-protected KeyText file from the command line
  42.     can specify it there, rather than being asked for it
  43.     once KeyText starts.
  44.     Added a warning on selecting "New" from the right-
  45.     click menu, as some users were selecting "New" to
  46.     start a new macro, rather than a new set of macros.
  47.     "Input" box will now wrap text, rather than scroll to
  48.     the right.
  49.     Fixed a bug where if the item at the front when the
  50.     Edit text items window is opened had an active
  51.     schedule, the green surround on the Scheduler toolbar
  52.     button did not display.
  53.     Fixed bug where, if the first item to show on the
  54.     right-click anywhere menu is changed in Settings/
  55.     Options, the change takes place immediately, not after
  56.     a restart as previously.
  57.     Fixed a bug where, in certain circumstances, nested
  58.     loops would not operate correctly.
  59.     Fixed a bug where, in certain circumstances, control
  60.     would not return to the calling item when CallSelect
  61.     was used.
