  6. This document discusses the updates which have been
  7. made to Battlefield Communicator Client
  8.  
  9. Version 1.1, Build 90
  10. ---------------------

  12. The following are the changes which have been
  13. made since Version 1.0:
  14.  
  15. - Removed the 15 minute connection timeout for 
  16.   unregisterd users.  The client now has a 30 
  17.   day evaluation period.  Once the 30 days are 
  18.   up the software no longer functions.
  19. - Channel Support.  The client now supports
  20.   channels.
  21. - Hotkeys.  The client now supports global
  22.   hotkeys for switching between channels
  23.   and push-to-talk.
  24. - Push To Talk.  You can now choose between
  25.   voice activated and push to talk
  26.   operation.
  27. - URL Launch Bug Fixed.  In Build 70 if you
  28.   launched Battlefield Communicator from
  29.   a URL your client would ALWAYS operate
  30.   in demo mode.
  31. - Keyboard shortcuts added.
  32. - New Save Settings option.  This option
  33.   saves your settings immediately.
  34. - Increased recording guard timeout
  35.   to reduce false alarms.
  36. - Fixed bug w/Voice Activation which was
  37.   causing certain configurations to
  38.   continually transmit regardless of
  39.   settings.
