Unzip the zip file you got this readme in, and extract it to c:\cyt, or wherever you want the program to be located. Click on cyt.exe to run the program. You can add the program to your start menu by right-clicking the task bar, going to "properties," and then selecting add.

The purpose of this program is to clear the location pull-down bar in Netscape 3.x or 4.x. This program will allow you to clear the URLs in the bar completely, replace individual urls, or delete individual URLs. Use this program to keep the sites you've visited secret from the eyes of others. In addition, Cover Your Tracks can also clean you cache, delete all cookies, erase your history file, clear newsgroups, and remove all the links from the Documents area of the Start Menu. This erases nearly every trace of a visit to any particular site.

Cover Your Tracks is shareware, which means that you can try it out legally for 30 uses. If during or at the end of that period you decide that you would like to continue using it, please register your evaluation copy.
Your single-user registration will license you to use your copy of Cover Your Tracks, will support work on future versions, new features, and bug fixes, and will provide you with technical support via email.
