  1. Evergreen Processor Upgrades Information Help

  3. NOTE: Due to the nature of the tests conducted by this program, it may
  4.         hang on some systems.  This does not indicate an incompatibility
  5.         with Evergreen Pentium processor upgrades.

  8. Returning Program Report to Evergreen for System Evaluation
  9. -----------------------------------------------------------

  11. Run program and fill in necessary user information.  Then either 
  12. fax or email to Evergreen a copy of this program report (REPORT.TXT), 
  13. found in the same directory as this program.
  14.  
  15. Running Program in Real Mode
  16. ----------------------------

  18. You may receive a warning that your system is running in protected
  19. mode.  This program must be run in real mode for complete and accurate
  20. test results.  This means you must boot DOS from a boot disk
  21. (floppy disk) that does not run extended memory managers (eg. EMM386).
  22. A floppy boot disk can be created by using the SYS command from DOS.
  23. Copy the PENTINFO files to the DOS floppy boot disk and boot from the,
  24. floppy disk.  At the DOS prompt run PENTINFO.  It will now run in real
  25. mode and give accurate test results.

  27. Using This Program
  28. ------------------

  30. To select the desired option use left or right arrow keys to highlight 
  31. the option, then press ENTER key to activate or press the hot key of 
  32. the option (in red).  If a mouse is installed, it can be used to 
  33. select an option by clicking once on the desired option with the
  34. left mouse button.  This will highlight the option.  Clicking once 
  35. more will activate the option.  Double-clicking can also be used to 
  36. select the desired option.",

  38. Text Viewer
  39. -----------

  41. If you select a function that uses the text viewer, for example this 
  42. Help file, use up and down arrow keys to scroll through the text.  
  43. PAGE UP and PAGE DOWN can be used to view the text a page at a time.  
  44. Pressing the 'P' key will print the file.  Pressing the ESC key will 
  45. close the window and return to the main program.  This also holds true
  46. for other popup windows used in the program.

  51. All of the program functions give a brief description of themselves,
  52. when highlighted, on the last line of the screen.

  56.      Displays the report text file generated by this program.
  57.      Brings up a sub menu with the following options:

  61.             Allows the report generated by the program to be printed out.
