  18. * Windows 95/NT 4.0 or higher
  19. * IBM PC-compatible with Pentium processor
  20.   or better
  21. * 16 MB of RAM
  22. * 50 MB of hard disk space; an additional
  23.   15 MB of hard disk space is needed during
  24.   the Setup process.
  25. * 2x CD-ROM drive
  26. * Local bus SVGA card
  27. * Windows 95 compatible sound card
  28. * Mouse

  30. * You may wish to install DirectX 3, if it
  31.   is not already installed. DirectSound
  32.   is required for sounds; also,
  33.   you will need DirectDraw to display the
  34.   the game, if your machine is not running
  35.   in 16-bit color. Furthermore, without
  36.   DirectPlay, you will only be able to play
  37.   multiplayer games using Sierra's Outpost 2
  38.   server via the Internet.

  40. II] HOW TO START THE DEMO
  41. ===========================================
  42. To start the demo, choose "Start" from the
  43. Windows 95 task bar. Then select Programs.
  44. Then select Dynamix. Then select Outpost 2
  45. Demo.

  47. A menu will appear, giving you the option
  48. of playing 1 of 2 single-player scenarios,
  49. or starting or joining a multiplayer game,
  50. or viewing the online manual, viewing the
  51. preview AVI, or quitting. Click on the
  52. option of your choice.

  54. III] HOW TO PLAY THE DEMO

  56. Consult the online manual for information
  57. on how to play. You may view the online
  58. manual in one of the following ways:
  59. * By selecting "Online Manual" when the
  60.   demo menu appears after starting the game
  61. * By pressing F1 during the game
  62. * By double-clicking the O2_IG.HLP icon in
  63.   the directory where the game was installed
  64.   with Explorer
  65.  
  66. III] HOW TO UNINSTALL THE DEMO  
  67. ===========================================
  68. To uninstall the demo, select Start from
  69. the Windows 95 Task Bar, then select
  70. Settings, then Control Panel, then Add/
  71. Remove Programs. A dialog box will appear.
  72. Select "Outpost 2 Demo" from the list and
  73. click on "Add/Remove...". A confirmation
  74. dialog box will appear, click on "OK" to
  75. remove the demo from your hard disk.

  77. Note:
  78. If you have installed the demo more than
  79. once, the Dynamix folder and the Outpost 2
  80. Demo icon may not be removed from the
  81. task bar program folder. You can remove
  82. this yourself: Select Start from the
  83. Windows 95 Task Bar, then select Settings,
  84. then select Task Bar. A dialog box will
  85. appear. Click on Start Menu Programs tab,
  86. click on Remove button, the expand the
  87. Dynamix folder. If Outpost 2 Demo is the
  88. only thing in this folder, you can click
  89. on the Dynamix folder and click on the
  90. Remove button.
