  3. AVIedit is the smart video capture tool for Windows 95/98.
  4. It can edit an existing .avi files and create the new ones.
  5. A special hardware (video capture board) is required ONLY for
  6. capture, but any other things (filtering, color correction,
  7. import/export frames, printing, de-noiser, transformer etc.)
  8. can be easy done on most of Pentium-class computer.

  10. To install, unzip this archive into the new directory, like
  11. C:\Program Files\AVIedit and run aviedit.exe
  12.  
  13. This program does NOT replace or copy any files to Windows\system
  14. directory, and registry key created for save/restore settings is
  15. unique (that mean, it not conflicts with any other existing software).
  16. Furthermore, it doesn't need any MFC, Visual C++ or VBasic runtime
  17. installed and it is therefore really independend from these.
