  6. If you're on a LAN, be it at work or at home (you know who
  7. you are, Dukematch addicts!), it gets REAL annoying to have
  8. to enter your password in that logon box every time.
  9.  
  10. Got a machine on your corporate LAN that needs to log on
  11. automatically by itself, but you lost that ability when
  12. you switched over to Windows 95?
  13.  
  14. AutoLog to the rescue!
  15.  
  16. How to Use AutoLog
  17. ------------------
  18. To use AutoLog, just unzip the distribution archive anywhere and
  19. double-click on the executable (AutoLog.exe) to run it.
  20.  
  21. You'll see a screen with your user name and password, along with
  22. a confirmation box to reenter your password for error checking.
  23. The box that says "Enable AutoLog" must be checked in order for
  24. AutoLog to set your automatic logins up.  If you want to disable
  25. the automatic logins, uncheck this box.

  27. The buttons are self-explanatory; click Apply to apply the current
  28. settings, or click Retrieve Data to load the currently set information
  29. back into AutoLog.

  31. IMPORTANT: Once AutoLog is installed, it won't work if the executable
  32.            is moved to another folder. This minor inconvenience should
  33.            be fixed by the next release.

  35. Note: When using auditing, AutoLog currently saves to the file
  36.       C:\AutoLog.log
  37.       The option to change the name and location of this log file
  38.       is scheduled to appear in the next release of AutoLog.

  42. AutoLog has worked on all of the systems I have tested it in thus far;

  56.  - Allow the user to select the name and location of the auditing
  57.    log file.

  59.  - Allow the user to move the AutoLog executable anywhere and still
  60.    have it run properly.

  62.  - Create an installable/uninstallable version of AutoLog.
