  93.  IV.  INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
  94.       1. Format two 1.44 MB (High Density) blank diskette and
  95.          label them disk1 and disk2. Insert disk1 into the A:
  96.          drive of your PC.
  97.  
  98.       2. If you have installed a previous version of this driver
  99.          you should go to the Lexmark 5000 Series folder
  100.          and run the uninstall program by double clicking on the
  101.          uninstall icon. and then restart Windows.
  102.

  104.       3. If you are running Windows 95, skip to step 5.  If you
  105.      are running Windows 3.1 or 3.11, click File, Run, and 
  106.      enter RUNME.BAT preceded by the directory that contains 
  107.      the driver file you just downloaded.  (Example: 
  108.          C:\CJ5000\RUNME.BAT).  When prompted remove disk1 and
  109.          insert disk2.  The complete driver and installation
  110.          program will be copied to the diskettes in your A: drive.

  112.       4. Windows 3.x:  Insert disk1 and Click FILE, RUN, and enter
  113.          a:\setup.  When prompted remove disk1 and insert disk2.
  114.          The driver files will be installed on your system. Enter
  115.          the appropriate printer port when prompted, then skip to
  116.          step 7.

  118.       5. Windows 95: Insert the first disk and click START, RUN,
  119.          and enter RUNME.BAT preceded by the directory that contains
  120.          the driver file you just downloaded.  (Example:
  121.          C:\CJ5000\RUNME.BAT).  When prompted remove disk1 and insert
  122.          disk2.  The complete the driver and installation
  123.          program will be copied to the diskettes in your A: drive.

  125.       6. Windows 95:  Insert disk1 into A:, Click START, SETTINGS, PRINTERS,
  126.          and then double click on the ADD PRINTER icon.  In the printer wizard
  127.          click on NEXT, LOCAL PRINTER, NEXT, HAVE DISK.  Enter a: as the
  128.          manufactures files and click OK.  Then click on NEXT and select the
  129.          printer port, and choose NEXT.  Click on finish to begin coping files.
  130.          When prompted remove disk1 and insert disk2 to complete the installation.
  131.          The driver files will be installed on your system.  Enter 
  132.      the appropriate printer port when prompted.

  134.       7. You should Restart Windows for the driver update to take
  135.      effect. After you have verified that the driver is 
  136.      installed and working properly, you may want to erase
  137.          the files that you originally down loaded - CJWN50LE.EXE,
  138.          CJ5000D1.EXE, CJ5000D2.EXE, RUNME.BAT.

  140.       8. Click on the Readme icon in the Lexmark 5000 Series group
  141.          for more information on your printer.
