  66.  IV.  INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
  67.       1. Format a 1.44 MB (High Density) blank diskette and insert
  68.      it into the A: drive of your PC.
  69.  
  70.       2. If you are running Windows 95, skip to step 4.  If you 
  71.      are running Windows 3.1 or 3.11, click File, Run, and 
  72.      enter RUNME.BAT preceded by the directory that contains 
  73.      the driver file you just downloaded.  (Example: 
  74.      C:\CJ2070\RUNME.BAT).  The complete driver and 
  75.      installation program will be copied to the diskette in 
  76.      your A: drive.

  78.       3. Windows 3.x:  Click File, Run, and enter a:\setup.  The 
  79.      driver files will be installed on your system.  Enter 
  80.      the appropriate printer port when prompted, then skip to 
  81.      step 6.

  83.       4. Windows 95: Click Start, Run and enter RUNME.BAT.  The 
  84.      complete driver and installation program will be copied 
  85.      to the diskette in your A: drive.

  87.       5. Windows 95:  Click Start, Run, and enter a:\setup.  The
  88.      driver files will be installed on your system.  Enter 
  89.      the appropriate printer port when prompted.

  91.       6. You should Restart Windows for the driver update to take
  92.      effect. After you have verified that the driver is 
  93.      installed and working properly, you may want to erase
  94.          the files that you originally downloaded - CJ1020WE.EXE,
  95.          XCJ1020.EXE, RUNME.BAT, and AVEXTRA.TXT - to free up 
  96.      disk space. You should keep the LICENSE.TXT file for
  97.      your reference.

  99.       7. Click on the Readme icon in the Lexmark  1020 Color 
  100.     jetprinter group for more information on your printer.
