  4.  Define the title of this horizontal menu option.
  5. <hkeys   >
  6.  Define a hot key  for this  horizontal menu
  7.  option.  A hot key is ANY alphanumeric that
  8.  appears in the respective menu option title.
  9.  Hot  keys  definition  provides  additional
  10.  operating  convenience,   while  using  the
  11.  keyboard,  it is however  NOT  compulsory !

  13.  Define the title of this vertical menu option.
  14. <vkey    >
  15.  Define a hot key for this vertical menu option.
  16.  The hot key is  ANY  alphanumeric that appears
  17.  in the respective title.
  18. <path    >
  19.  Define the path (drive and directory) from
  20.  where the  program/utility  will be run at
  21.  the selection of this menu option.
  22.  Example: if typed  C:\UTILS the command is
  23.  run at DOS prompt 'C:\UTILS>'.

  25.  Define the DOS command that will start the
  26.  desired program/utility  at  the selection
  27.  of this vertical option.

  29.  Advanced users:  use "->" to prompt for
  30.  command or "<command>->"  to prompt for
  31.  command tail prior to execution.

  33.  Define the vertical menu for
  34.  this horizontal menu option.
  35.  To terminate  vertical menus
  36.  setup, select option <Quit>,
  37.  or press <Esc>, or click the
  38.  right-hand mouse button.

  40.  Personalize this menu by selecting 
  41.  your own title. This title appears 
  42.  centred  on the top of the screen.

  88.  timeout ranges from  10 to 32000 seconds

  91.  The utility to be run as the 'screen saver'.
  92.  This should be interruptible  by  the strike
  93.  of any key, or the click of any of the mouse
  94.  buttons.    This utility must also blank the
  95.  screen before terminating.    The default is
  96.  ALASCRSV (supplied with AlacartE).

  98.  The path of the 'screen saver' utility.  The
  99.  default is set to the  AlacartE installation
  100.  drive and directory.

  102.  It is advisable but NOT strictly necessary,
  103.  to define appropriate hot-keys.    If these  
  104.  are not properly defined, selections can be
  105.  made using the mouse or the arrow keys.

  107.  Turn sound ON/OFF for invalid key-strokes.
  108.  This sound must be turned OFF if TSRs that
  109.  are activated by  "hot keys" are installed
  110.  prior to AlacartE being invoked.

  112.  The configuration file was NOT found !
  113.  You may now define a new configuration
  114.  by pressing <F2> and using the Set-up.
  115.  If  you have lost  your configuration,
  116.  please request technical advise.
  117. <conftitl>
  118.  If confirmed,  the menu title will be saved.
  119.  To leave the previous title unchanged, press
  120.  <F2> now.   This returns to the menu without
  121.  saving the currently defined title.
  122. <confkbto>
  123.  If confirmed,  the keyboard timeout and the 'screen
  124.  saving'  command and path will be saved.   To leave
  125.  the previous keyboard timeout  and  'screen saving'
  126.  setup unchanged, press <F2>.    This terminates the
  127.  Setup utility and returns to the menu without save.
  128. <confvert>
  129.  If confirmed, the vertical menu will be saved.
  130.  To leave the previous vertical menu unchanged,
  131.  ie.  discard all latest changes,   press <F2>.
  132.  This returns to the menu without save.
  133. <confhorz>
  134.  If confirmed, the horizontal menu will be saved.
  135.  To leave the previous horizontal menu unchanged,
  136.  ie.  discard all latest changes,  press <F2>.
  137.  This returns to the menu without save.
  138. <confsund>
  139.  If confirmed, the sound set-up will  be saved.
  140.  To leave the previous  sound setup  unchanged,
  141.  press <F2>.   This returns to the menu without
  142.  save.
  143. <userintr>
  144.  Select Character User Interface
  145.  or Graphic User Interface, only
  146.  available with EGA, VGA upwards.
  147. <delhbusy>
  148.  The deleted horizontal menu option(s) contain
  149.  vertical menu definitions.  The vertical menu
  150.  definitions must be cleared first. Select the
  151.  'Vertical menu options',  then the horizontal
  152.  option to delete, press <F4> to clear all the
  153.  vertical  definitions,  then  <F10>  to save.
  154. <delhmenu>
  155.  Multiple horizontal menu options deletion is
  156.  accepted ONLY if selected options are in one
  157.  group.   Otherwise horizontal menu option(s)
  158.  may be deleted ONE AT A TIME.
  159. <select16>
  160.  Some 'badly written' TSR programs address the
  161.  graphics display and return without restoring
  162.  the previous setup.  In these cases undesired
  163.  colors blinking is experienced upon return to
  164.  the AlacartE menu. Selecting eight (8) colors
  165.  only mode provides a quick and easy fix.
