  72. WHAT IS CONVERTER PRO?
  73.  
  74. CONVERTER PRO is a program to convert units in a professional manner.
  75.  
  76. CONVERTER PRO comes with a database that contains the most important
  77. conversion factors to convert length, area, volume, mass, force,
  78. pressure, density, energy, power, temperature, dynamic viscosity,
  79. kinematic viscosity and time units.
  80.  
  81. The database contains all commonly used unit systems (British, US, SI,
  82. CGS  and MKS).
  83.  
  84. Units that are not available in the database can be composed from up to
  85. four available units (for example 'mile' and 'hr.' will give 'mile/hr.'
  86. or 'BTU', 'lb.' and 'deg. F' will give 'BTU/lb. deg.F').
  87.  
  88. All conversion factor tables contained in the database are extendible.
  89. If you miss a unit that you use frequently, you can simply add it
  90. yourself.

  92. You may also enter up to ten user-defined conversion factor tables (for
  93. example electrical or acoustical units)

  95. You can rely on the accuracy of the conversions. The database was
  96. established using the most accurate basic conversion factors available
  97. and carefully tested. At least five digits of the results will therefore
  98. always be accurate.

  100. CONVERTER PRO has been written by an engineer who is working
  101. internationally. He got fed up for good one day to continue with
  102. re-inventing the wheel over and over again and wrote this program. The
  103. program is therefore particularly suitable for all those who work under
  104. similar circumstances and are frequently confronted with unfamiliar unit
  105. systems.

  171. Unzip the ZIP file to a separate directory on your hard disk. Then run
  172. SETUP.EXE and follow the instructions.
