  5. Welcome to Connection Manager. This program will disconnect from an Internet
  6. Service Provider after a specified laps of time. This program is FREEWARE.
  7. You can distribute it freely. With an exception, if you want to distribute it
  8. along with one of your program, or on a CD, I want to be notified of it. I

  17.   1. Unzip the program in a directory of your choice.
  18.  
  19.   2. Run.

  21. How to use it...
  22. -------------------
  23. 1. Connect to your Internet Service Provider using Dial-up Networking
  24.    *** Dial-up Networking is REQUIRED for this software to work ***

  26. 2. Start the program. (Yeah...)
  27.  
  28. 3. Start your Downloads using any software.
  29.  
  30. 4. Enable one of the 2 hangup methods.
  31.  
  32.    o Time-based hangup.
  33.      Press the Start! button and select the delay before hangup.
  34.  
  35.    o Window-based hangup.
  36.      Press the Add/Remove Window button. You will have a menu with all the
  37.      current visible windows. Select one in the left column, and press the
  38.      Add to list >> button. Connection Manager will not wait for this window
  39.      to close before hanging up. If you are not sure which window name you
  40.      have selected, press the Bring To Top button, this will show the
  41.      currently selected window. Close the menu.
  42.      Then, select the time interval between checks. Connection Manager will
  43.      scan the system to see if all those windows are still opened and will
  44.      hangup when all of em will be closed. Shorter delay will hangup faster
  45.      but may hurt overall system performance. 10 sec seems to be a right
  46.      delay.

  48.    o Start the program using /h to hangup immediately and exit.

  50. 5. Hide Connection Manager by clicking on the Hide button. If you need to
  51.    change parameters, click on the icon in the taskbar.

  55.   This software works great with Netscape or any program creating a 'download
  56.   window'. When using one of those, use the Window-based method.

  72. would have searched much longer for a way to hangup. I also thank my brother,
  73. who designed the nice icon, without him, it would be soo ugly that I prefer
