  27. If you didn't use WinZip(R) Version 6.0 or above  to  unzip 
  28. the,    "Flags    of    the    World!"  cursor  collection, 
  29. long file names are not supported  and  all  filenames  are 
  30. truncated. PkZip 2.04g overwrites the file names because it 
  31. does not support long file names.  To correct this problem, 
  32. unzip the flags_v1.zip file into a  new   directory   using 
  33. WinZip(R) Version 6.0 or above.  You can get this file from 
  34. the, "Animated Cursor Schemes for Windows(R) '95" WWW site:

  84. IV.  Installing Cursors in Windows '95.
  85.  
  86. 1.  Place all of the flags_v1.zip files in  a  directory
  87.     entitled:     "Flags  of  the  World!"   There   are  
  88.     104 "Normal Select" cursors.  
  89.  
  90.     (The flags_v1.zip file also includes the readme.txt, 
  91.     avextra.txt and file_id.diz files.)
  92.  
  93. 2.  Next, click, Start|Settings|Control Panel|Mouse.
  94.  
  95. 3.  In the "Mouse Properties" dialogue box choose, 
  96.     "Pointers."
  97.  
  98. 4.  Click   on   "Normal   Select"    to    make    your   
  99.     selection for the  mouse pointer  and  then  choose, 
  100.     "Browse."  Find your,    "Flags   of   the   World!" 
  101.     directory and  choose, ANY cursor for  your  "Normal 
  102.     Select" cursor.  Change them often.   (NOTE:   These
  103.     cursors were not created for pointer operations,  B-
  104.     N.)

  126.     World!,"  then  choose   "Apply."   Your  "Flags  of 
  127.     the World!" cursor is installed.

  129. 8.  To switch back  to your old cursor set, simply select
  130.     the previous "Scheme" or choose "None" and then click, 
  131.     "Apply."  Exit.

  134. V.  Known Problem With This Cursor Collection.
  135.  
  136. The only problem with this cursor collection is noted as:
  137.  
  138.     1.  Flags which are WHITE may be unusable if  the
  139. desktop color scheme   appears   white.  The  "Japan.cur" 
  140. cursor and the "Belarus.cur" cursor are good examples  of 
  141. this. Rather than alter a flag's color, change the  color
  142. of your desktop color scheme by:
  143.  
  144.     A.   Right-clicking on the desktop and selecting:
  145.              PROPERTIES.
  146.     B.   Under the APPEARANCE  tab,  click  ITEM  and 
  147.              select WINDOW.
  148.         C.   In the COLOR box, select light-grey.    This 
  149.              changes the background color of  application
  150.              windows to the color light-grey.
