  8.    OVERVIEW:
  9.    ---------
  10.       This package contains three complete programs:
  11.  
  12.         1.  AnyTime.Exe  - will display the current date and time for up
  13.                           to 11 cities (worldwide) simultaneously.
  14.         2.  SunTime.Exe  - will display Sunrise/Sunset times for any city
  15.                           you select.
  16.         3.  SunChart.Exe - a command line utility which will list (or print)
  17.                           sunrise and sunset times for selected cities and
  18.                           dates.
  19.  
  20.       There is a brief documentation file for each of the above programs -
  21.       please read these files for further information:
  22.  
  23.                    ANYTIME.DOC,  SUNTIME.DOC, and SUNCHART.DOC.
  24.  
  25.       These programs share a common database of cities (CITIES.DAT) and
  26.       time zones (TIMEZONE.DAT) which must reside in the same directory as
  27.       the executable module(s).  These database files are simple ASCII text
  28.       files which may be edited with any ASCII text editor (provided that
  29.       it does not introduce any compression characters such as TAB).

  31.    STARTUP:
  32.    --------
  33.       Simply copy the files to the directory or floppy disk of your choosing.
  34.       To run the interactive programs from the DOS prompt, type the name of
  35.       the desired program and hit the <Enter> key:

  37.                        ANYTIME <Enter>
  38.                       or
  39.                        SUNTIME <Enter>
  40.  
  41.       Both programs are very easy to use and can be controlled with a mouse
  42.       or from the keyboard (or both).   Both of the above programs can be
  43.       individually configured for various time and date display formats as
  44.       well as screen colors and video display modes by choosing the <About>
  45.       button (or <F1> key) after the program is loaded.  When the program
  46.       version window is displayed, select the <Setup> button (or press the
  47.       'S' key) to bring up the program setup options screen.

  49.       The utility list program SUNCHART.EXE requires a driver file listing
  50.       cities and dates to display.  To run using the sample driver, type the
  51.       program name followed by the driver name:

  53.                        SUNCHART SUNCHART.DRV <Enter>
  54.  
  55.       This will display output of the data specified in SUNCHART.DRV on your
  56.       computer screen.  To send output to a printer, use the DOS redirection
  57.       command:
  58.                        SUNCHART SUNCHART.DRV >LPT1 <Enter>
  59.  
  60.       You will need to read the SUNCHART.DOC file for specific instructions
  61.       on the use of this program (which is admittedly a little cryptic).

  63.                           ANYTIME/SUNTIME  by RejTech

  65.    PROGRAM SPEED
  66.    -------------
  67.       All of these programs start by loading the database files.  Due to the
  68.       size of the CITIES.DAT file, slower computers may take a while (just a
  69.       few seconds) to load it.  This delay can be shortened (if desired) by
  70.       using a text editor to remove unwanted cities from the CITIES.DAT file.

  72.    DATABASE ACCURACY
  73.    -----------------
  74.       The distributed database file, CITIES.DAT, has been compiled from
  75.       various sources.  It is believed to be accurate for the most part,
  76.       however you should double check the time-zone information for any city
  77.       that you have a crucial interest in.   Also, no attempt has yet been
  78.       made to adjust the database for the breakup of the Soviet Union.

  80.    DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME
  81.    ---------------------
  82.       In the current version, daylight savings time is automatically computed
  83.       using the standard in the USA, and only for those cities marked for
  84.       such in the database.   Future versions may allow for various foreign
  85.       standards, but until then, you will need to manually select daylight
  86.       saving time for most foreign cities.

  88.    SOFTWARE LICENSE REGISTRATION:
  89.    ------------------------------
  90.       If you find that these programs are useful, please register your copy
  91.       copy for a small fee of $5.00 each (excluding SUNCHART which is a free
  92.       bonus for registered users). If you desire to register both SUNTIME and
  93.       SUNCHART at the same time, a $3.00 discount will be given, bringing the
  94.       total price for both programs to $7.00.

  96.       To register programs individually, select the <About> button at the
  97.       bottom of the main program window.  To register jointly, and receive
  98.       a discount, execute the batch procedure "REGISTER.BAT" by typing:

  102.       at the DOS prompt.   You will then be prompted for the required infor-
  103.       mation and a mailable registration form will be printed on your system
  104.       printer.  If this process fails or you do not have a printer connected
  105.       to LPT1, send your name, address and $7.00 (Check or MO, U.S.) to:
