There are three things you might need to play a given movie. Firstly Windows Media Player 9, which comes free with Windows XP or 2000. You can also download it for free from Microsoft at www.microsoft.com, but we're not allowed to distribute it on the discs, because Microsoft like to maintain tight control over how their products are distributed.
Secondly, if nothing happens at all when you click the Play button, the chances are it's a QuickTime movie and you don't have QuickTime. QuickTime is a media player by Apple, and it also freely available on the internet - www.quicktime.com. Again, we're not allowed to distribute it on our discs.
Lastly, make sure you have the DivX 5.11 codec. If you don't know what it is, don't worry - just go to The Toolkit and install it.
