  4. Civilization was released a long while ago.  This means that
  5. some recent enhancements to hardware and drivers may cause
  6. problems not anticipated at it's original publication.  Should
  7. you have any problems with the game, please try creating a
  8. system boot disc which will only load those drivers that the
  9. game actually uses.  The universal boot disc program could be
  10. used or if you have Word 6, have a look at one of the .DOC
  11. files in the \EXTRAS directory.

  13. Occasionally you may find the game will lock up when using
  14. selecting CHANGE in the "City-Map".  This can be avoided by
  15. turning off "Instant Advice".
  16.  
  17. The error "Run Time Error" and "MCGA MODE NOT SUPPORTED" is
  18. normally caused by an incompatible mouse driver.  Please use
  19. the Microsoft mouse driver included with this CD.
