-
- This level is architecturaly more complex than The Pagan
- Temple, my first level. And the time required to complete it
- was a good bit longer, partially due to non-Quake delays. The
- one element truely missing from Quake, which level designers
- have to compensate for, is the lack of normal items like tables,
- chairs, stairs, etc...some editors will now allow you to save
- these elements you have created to be reused! I started this
- level with QuakeMap 2.0b's, and some later features were done
- with WorldCraft 1007.
-
- This level is underground catacomb and mine-type tunnels,
- which connect various rooms. I have tried to use differing light
- types for atmosphere. I have also tried to vary the styles of
- doors.
-
- I am no longer including the .map file with my levels. This had
- been done so that any new level designers out there can learn
- (maybe) from something that was in my level. With the release
- of non-authorized distribution on CD, I don't think it's a good
- idea to include it any longer.
