  1. HardBall 5 1996 MLBPA stats patch                    February 12, 1996

  4. This patch contains the 1995 season end statistics and all of the
  5. player trades up to the last week of January 1996.
  6.

  8. Installation
  9. ------------
  10. 1) Copy (or unzip) the MLBPA96.LGD file into your existing \HB5
  11.    directory on your hard disk.
  12. 2) Run the game, go to the league play screen, select "Switch Leagues",
  13.    then choose the MLBPA96.LGD file.
  14. 3) Enjoy.
  15.  
  16. Doing this does not modify the HardBall 5 distribution media,
  17. therefore if you re-install HardBall 5 you'll need to re-copy this
  18. patch into the directory after the re-install is complete.
  19.  
  20. Note: choosing the "New League" game feature will create a league with
  21. the original player data in it, rather than the 1996 data.  If you
  22. want to create a new league which uses the 1996 data then you should
  23. exit to DOS and make a copy of the MLBPA96.LGD file.  You can then
  24. use the "Reset Season" game function to reset to the start of the
  25. season.

  30. At the time of this writing there is a version 5.12 patch for HardBall 5
  31. which fixes a number of bugs in the program and adds numerous
  32. enhancements over version 5.00.  More information about this patch

  34. (also listed below).
