  8. General License Agreement for CYBERsitter 2003
  9. --------------------------------------------------
  10. Subject to the terms of this Agreement, Solid
  11. Oak Software, Incorporated ("The Company") grants a
  12. personal, nonexclusive, nonassignable and
  13. nontransferable license to use and display the
  14. CYBERsitter software ("Software") on any single
  15. computer of which the licensee is the primary user.
  16. For the purposes of this agreement, a "licensee"
  17. shall be considered an original purchaser who has
  18. paid the registration fee.
  19.  
  20. Copying Prohibited
  21. -------------------------------------------------
  22. Unauthorized copying of the Software, including
  23. software that has been modified, merged or
  24. included with the Software, or the written
  25. materials associated therewith is expressly
  26. forbidden.  
  27.  
  28. Reverse Engineering Prohibited
  29. -------------------------------------------------
  30. Unauthorized reverse engineering of the Software, 
  31. whether for edcucational, fair use, or other reason
  32. is expressly forbidden. For the purposes of this  
  33. license the term "reverse engineering" shall apply
  34. to any and all information obtained by such methods
  35. as decompiling, decrypting, trial and error, or
  36. activity logging. 
  37.  
  38. Non-Disclosure
  39. -------------------------------------------------
  40. Unauthorized disclosure of CYBERsitter operational
  41. details, hacks, work around methods, blocked sites,
  42. and blocked words or phrases are expressly 
  43. prohibited.
  44.  
  45. Sub Licensing
  46. -------------------------------------------------
  47. Licensee may not sub license, assign, or transfer 
  48. this license or the Software.  Any attempt to sub 
  49. license, assign or transfer any of the rights, 
  50. duties or obligations under this license is void.
  51.  
  52. Termination of License
  53. -------------------------------------------------
  54. The Company reserves the right to terminate this 
  55. license at any time for any reason without prior 
  56. notice to the user.
  57.  
  58. Technical Support
  59. -------------------------------------------------
  60. Technical support is provided as a free service, 
  61. and the acceptance of this license agreement is 
  62. not to be interperated as an agreement by The 
  63. Company to provide technical support (i.e. 
  64. service agreement).
  65.  
  66. The Company shall offer free technical support
  67. to the original purchaser only, for a period of
  68. one year from the date of purchase. The Company 
  69. reserves the right to refuse technical support
  70. to the user after one year, or for any reason.
  71. The Company further reserves the right to refuse
  72. technical support to any non-licensee.
  73.  
  74. Trial and Demo Versions
  75. -------------------------------------------------
  76. Trial version users agree to uninstall and destroy
  77. all files included with the Software upon 
  78. expiration of the trial period. All other 
  79. restrictions and terms of this license shall 
  80. continue to apply.
  81.  
  82. Limited Warranty and Remedies
  83. -------------------------------------------------
  84. The Program is provided "AS IS" without warranty
  85. of any kind, either expressed or implied, including
  86. but not limited to warranties of merchantibility
  87. or fitness for a particular purpose.  In no event
  88. shall The Company be liable to you for any damages 
  89. arising out of the use of the program, even if 
  90. advised of the possibility of such damages.

  92. Copyrights and Trademarks

  94. CYBERsitter is trademarked and copyrighted by 
  95. Solid Oak Software, Incorporated. CYBERsitter 
  96. protected by United States Copyright and Trade 
  97. Secret laws.

  99. BY CONTINUING WITH THE INSTALLATION, YOU AGREE TO
  100. ALL TERMS OF THIS LICENSE. OTHERWISE PRESS CANCEL
  101. NOW.
