  3. Welcome to the fast-growing family of NOD32 Antivirus System users. NOD32 has
  4. been proven repeatedly to have the best virus detection rate, the fastest 
  5. scanning rate and to have one of the smallest footprints of any product you 
  6. could have purchased to protect your data against viruses, worms and trojans.

  8. INSTALLATION
  9.  
  10. The NOD32 Antivirus System is actually made up of several program modules - all 
  11. of which are controlled via the NOD32 Control Center.  We have selected default 
  12. settings which are suitable for all but the most advanced users.  We 
  13. recommended accepting these default settings during installation.
  14.  
  15. During installation, all features will be installed to match the optimum configuration for your computer.  Network 
  16. installations will have additional features which may require the system 
  17. administrator to review the installation guide for network applications 
  18. in order to take full advantage of the optional controls.

  22. To get to the on-line help window when working with NOD32, press the F1 key,
  23. or the Help button.
  24.  
  25. MANUALS 
  26.  
  27. Although most functions are relatively easy to master, sometimes you may need 
  28. more detailed information on the NOD32 environment and functions.  You may want 
  29. to download the MANUAL.PDF file available for your conveniece at www.nod32.com 
  30. (download section).  The integrated Help system will, however, answer most of your 
  31. questions. To receive more advanced help, you may want to visit 
  32. the support section of our website which contains a wide selection of FAQs.

  34. SUPPORT

  36. NOD32 is a remarkably stable program - you may actually notice an improvement 
  37. in your overall system performance.  If, however, you find that you do need 
  38. some assistance please contact your software vendor.  This will ensure that 
  39. you immediately receive support from someone with knowledge of your 
  40. particular installation and who is able to provide support in the language 
  41. appropriate to the system you purchased.

  43. UPDATES and UPGRADES
  44.  
  45. Our work is never done and no software is ever finished. This is 
  46. especially true for antivirus software. The NOD32 Control Center has been developed 
  47. to provide you with the ability to have on-line, automatic, incremental updates and 
  48. system upgrades of the NOD32 suite of programs. During the period of your license, 
  49. it is very likely that new features and functions will be introduced and 
  50. provided to you free-of-charge as part of our automatic upgrade system. If you 
  51. decide to upgrade to a different operating system, that 
  52. upgraded version of NOD32 is also available to you (provided we have a version 
  53. for that OS, and that you remain within the scope of your original license).
