  9. Introduction
  10. ------------
  11. This   little   program  should  be  named  MultiView  and  placed  in  the
  12. SYS:Utilities  directory.   I wrote it because I use OS 2.1 and when unpack
  13. archives from Aminet or the like, I have this situation:  doubleclick on an
  14. icon and a requester pops up :

  16.  Unable to open your tool 'MultiView'
  17.  
  18. Here  is  where  this  program  comes  in.  It is called instead of the 3.x
  19. MultiView  and for all the file types there is a configured viewer that you
  20. like best.

  22. How to use it?
  23. --------------
  24. Very simple. Just edit program tooltypes.
  25. It was written using AmigaE version 3.2a.  Sorry Wouter but non-registered.

  27. I  put  in  my  favourite  vieers  &  players.   To  change that, just edit
  28. tooltypes to fit your needs.

  30. Some problems
  31. -------------
  32. -  viewers must be in your path or given with complete path, when used
  33.   (DOS.library`s Execute function related)
  34.   (any ideas for fixing, please contact me)
  35. - doesn`t replace OS 3.x data types
  36.   (maybe in future 8->> )
  37. - no external prefs file/program
  38.   (maybe in future 8->> )
  39. - can handle only commands up to 512 characters
  40.   (max. CLI command length is 512)
