  5. I thought I'd include some sketches to show what goes on behind the
  6. scenes. I often found my doodles better than the finished art I worked
  7. them up into. When you're relaxed your imagination comes out better than
  8. if you allow yourself to be hampered by the thoughts of deadlines. To
  9. remedy this I bridged the divide between sketch and finished design by
  10. developing a style whereby the two were merged together. So what was a
  11. sketch was also a finished piece, albeit less tidy and colourful. This
  12. led to a loose cartoon style which was a lot more fun to work with.
