  6. This program allows to create indexes of reduced pictures. It offers many
  7. possibilities and has some features that other programs of this type have
  8. not... And it's totally free !
  9.  
  10. Features :
  11.  
  12.     - Fast (optimised for 68020+ processors).
  13.     - Compact.
  14.     - Doesn't use MUI, BGUI, Triton,  ClassAct or any other GUI interface.
  15. Only system's Gadtools.library, which seems really sufficient (and much more
  16. memory saving)...
  17.     - Allows creation of 16 or 256 grayscale, or 256 colors thumbnails, with
  18. high image quality.
  19.     - 68000 CPU and ECS modes supported.
  20.     - Supports XPK compression.
  21.     - Respects totally the AMIGA system.
  22.     - Customizable.
  23.     - Handles multi-volumes indexes.
  24.     - Capability to update indexes very easily (all is automatic)
  25.     - Very powerful system of actions associated to each picture format.
  26.     - Can also rename/move/delete pictures on disk.
  27.     - Very flexible thanks to the use of datatypes (you can even catalog your
  28. fonts with the font.datatype, for example !)

  36. - Fixed a bug in the recursive addition of thumbnails.

  38. - Now you can choose the way of displaying the thumbnails (horizontally or
  39. vertically).

  41. - You can now run several copies of Collector at the same time.

  43. - When you change thumbnails directories, you now choose the new directories
  44. via a reqtools requester.

  46. - You can now provide an index name as a CLI argument when running Collector.
  47. You can also save an icon with an index, so by double-clicking later on this
  48. icon, you can automatically launch Collector and load the index.

  50. - You can now use an autoscrolling screen, by checking the AutoScroll mark in

  53. - Now you can rename / delete / move pictures also on the disk.
