  7. About AmiFIG
  8. ============

  10. AmiFIG is a universal structured drawing tool, which is derived from
  11. the well-known Unix-program XFig by Supoj Sutanthavibul and others.
  12. This version now includes most of the v3.1 features.
  13. Parts of the GUI were designed using GadToolsBox 2.0b by JaBa Development.
  14.  
  15. The features include:
  16.  ellipses, circles, lines, splines, arcs, images, compounds, text, arrows,
  17.  colors, filling with pattern or colour, different line widths and styles,
  18.  scaling, copying, rotating, zooming, grid, more, more, more...
  19.  
  20. Also included is fig2dev, a tool to convert fig data files into several
  21. formats (PostScript, LaTeX, epic etc.).
  22.  
  23. AmiFIG is shareware. The unregistered version only saves up to 30 objects
  24. (incl. contents of compound objects). That also applies to the size of
  25. library folders.
