- GMS V0.5B QUESTIONNAIRE
-
- 16 February 1997
-
-
-
- I would appreciate you filling out this questionnaire to further enhance the
- future of GMS. Please take the small amount of time to fill this out and
- return it to me. You might want to spend some time playing with GMS first, so
- that you can fully answer some of these questions...
-
- Note: Your comments DO count and will be acted upon!
-
-
- 1. Where did you get GMS from? (Aminet, BBS, Friend...)
-
-
-
-
- 2. Is there a particular type of program that you would like to write with
- GMS (eg Point+Click Adventure games)?
-
-
-
-
- 3. What features are missing? (Do not list features that are already
- planned, like C2P).
-
-
-
-
- 4. What features of GMS are the most important to you / what features do
- you like the most?
-
-
-
-
- 5. Are there any existing features that you think should be changed or
- removed?
-
-
-
-
- 6. When V1.0 is completed it may be necessary to pay a fee to use GMS.
- I will be trying to get GMS carried with other Amiga OS's, but if this
- is unsuccessful then GMS will be on its own. Please give a 1-5 rating in
- *each box* that tells us how much you like that method (5 is highly
- preferred, 1 is not preferred). Note that two or more of these methods
- could be used if necessary.
-
- [ ] Charge users for the GMSPrefs program, charge developers for a
- programmer's kit.
-
- [ ] All GMS programs must be sold through willing public domain outlets,
- which would pay a small % of royalties to us for each GMS game
- sold (about 5%). This means the charge is mostly being taken out
- on the consumer and frees you from money concerns.
-
- All GMS binaries, documents etc would then be available for free.
-
- [ ] Developers pay us a one-off payment for lifetime use of that GMS
- version (about $50 US). Costs are halved for future version updates.
-
- [ ] Put GMS into one package with user + developer information
- and binaries, anyone wanting to use or write a GMS program has to
- buy this package. Similar to buying an OS (eg AmigaOS).
- Cost about $30 US, but no upgrade discounts.
-
- [ ] Other? [Describe]
