  8. ~~~~~~~~
  9. BinConv is a very configureable converter to convert binary files
  10. into text files. You can choose if You want bytes, words or longs
  11. converted and also if you want them converted into hexandecimal,
  12. decimal or binary numbers, You can also say how many numbers each row
  13. should have and also a special coppermode for diassembling copperlists
  14. is implemented, if You don't have a copperlist to diasssemble You can
  15. rip one with the implemented copperlist grabber. Unlike other converters
  16. You can also change the 'dc.b' string into anything else you need
  17. (eg. 'data' for BASIC users). This and even more is vailable thrugh
  18. the powerful GUI of BinConv .

  20. BinConv has been written in 100% ASM, so it's very short, actually
  21. 9.8kb + icon = 11kb, and the registered version is even 400 bytes
  22. shorter, yes, BinConv is Shareware for more infos
  23. read the 'About'-messsage.

  25. Requirements
  26. ~~~~~~~~~~~~
  27. BinConv uses gadtools.library V39 so OS3.0 is required,
  28. also the great reqtools.libray, which is Copyright © by Nico François
  29. and Magnus Holmgren and which has become a essential part of
  30. most Amiga systems, is required but not included in this package.

  32. Installation
  33. ~~~~~~~~~~~~
  34. Drag it wherever you want.
  35. If BinConv can't find anything it will let you know.

  37. Usage
  38. ~~~~~
  39. 1.Load your file.
  40. 2.Select your convertmode.
  41. 3.Press the Convert/Save button.

  43. You can also select your convertmode before loading a file, or you
  44. can convert a file then change the convertmode and save again, just try it.

  64.                changed the decrunchheader, BinConv caused
  65.                    sometimes crashes while starting on
  66.                    '060 (and '040?) processors, this
  67.                    will hopefully not happan again, at
  68.                    least when running under OS3.0 or higher
