  18. QAmiTrack is a remake of AmiTrack, that uses amarquee.library
  19. and the AMarquee server program to provide several new features
  20. over the old version.
  21.  
  22. Like the old AmiTrack, QAmiTrack lets you advertise your Amiga's
  23. presence on the 'net, and see who else is on line.  Also like
  24. AmiTrack, QAmiTrack has an ARexx interface and allows you to
  25. automatically connect to other clients using a user-customizable
  26. cycle-gadget full of programs.
  27.  
  28. Unlike AmiTrack, QAmiTrack does not require you to wait 5
  29. minutes or click a "refresh" button in order to see updates
  30. to the list.  Instead, all updates to the list are forwarded
  31. to your Amiga as soon as they occur.

  33. Furthermore, QAmiTrack adds the ability to track how long
  34. it has been since an entry has changed, and which users have
  35. their QAmiTrack window open.  Each entry in the ListView 
  36. displays the number of minutes that have elapsed since the 
  37. last update to that entry, and users whose QAmiTrack windows
  38. are currently open have a plus sign next to that number.
  39. With this, you always have a good idea of which computer 
  40. users are actually looking at their QAmiTrack window, 
  41. and which are off doing something else.

  43. NOTE:  QAmiTrack is a new, separate database from the AmiTrack
  44.        database.  Thus, if you log in to a server with QAmiTrack
  45.        and your friend logs in with AmiTrack, you will not see
  46.        each other!  So encourage your friends to upgrade to
  47.        QAmiTrack ASAP.

  49. NOTE #2:  QAmiTrack requires amarquee.library to be installed
  50.           in your LIBS: directory.  Amarquee.library is available
  51.           in the AMarquee distribution archive, in /comm/net
  52.           on Aminet.
