at work. It was also interesting to learn that 31% of you run a business from home and 36% use a portable PC. For these reasons we shall endeavour to tailor more of our features to business related topics, and in the next issue our main article is all ab
out using a mobile PC. The majority of our members work in small businesses ñ 34% have between one and nine people in their work place, and 48% have less than 50 people.\par
We were very impressed to discover that our members are also working with the l
atest hardware; 67% are running Pentium PCs and a further 15% are running a 486DX. 85% of respondents use a CD-ROM drive with a sound card, and the remaining 15% intend to buy one, while 50% have a 28.8 bps modem and a further 36% want to purchase one so

The list of software that you already own or intend to buy is also very impressive, 77% run the Windows 95 operating system, with 17% intending to buy; 36% have Office Professional 95 and a huge 66% are going to buy or upgrade to the 97 version.
It was also good to hear that you are pleased with the products you have chosen ñ 99% will be recommending Microsoft products to others in the future, 84% intend to purchase updates and 88% would describe yourself a a ësatisfiedí or ëvery satisfiedí Mic
