\paperw8325 \margr0\margl0\ATXph0 \plain \fs20 \f1 Office Assistants are another major breakthrough in Office 97 and impossible to miss when you first use the suite. The ni
ne animated Assistants range from a cute PowerPup to Einstein The Genius, not to mention a lively paperclip, all of which sit at the top of your screen in a small window, intelligently watching how you work and when you get stuck. Whenever they notice so
mething you need help with, a light bulb appears and you can either click that for advice or click on your friend the Assistant. The Assistants also provide a great way to learn how Office 97 and each of its new programs work as they immediately pop up a
nd help you out as soon as you open each of the programs. Office Assistants are now common to all Office 97 applications, effectively replacing Office 95ís help interface and Answer Wizard. \par

Designed to help all Office 97 users, new and expert
alike, Assistants appear when they notice youíre flummoxed or answer your questions when you pro-actively ask for help. Office 97 supports Natural Language so you can ask questions in everyday language, rather than floundering with technical terms. Usin
g your mouse to double click on the Assistant at any time will also bring up a list of help topics that relate to your most recent work habits. Office Assistants also interact between all the Office 97 programs jumping up to tell you when youíve missed a
deadline in your schedule while working in Word. You can also turn off the Office Assistants at any time too, if you prefer to use the traditional help system.
