  6. INSTALLATION:
  7.  
  8.   Run INSTALL.BAT to install TAROT 2. INSTALL.BAT requires two command
  9. line parameters to operate properly. After typing install type the
  10. path to where you want TAROT 2 installed and then type a "V", a "E" or
  11. a "S" to tell it whether you want to install the VGA (16 color) cards,
  12. the EGA cards or the SVGA (256 color) cards. The subdirectory will be
  13. created if it doesn't already exist.
  14. Do not install to the root of a drive as there are many files.
  15. The number of files that can reside in the root is limited.
  16.  
  17. Example: INSTALL C:\Tarot2 V   to install the VGA version onto the
  18.                                C: drive in the Tarot2 subdirectory.
  19.  
  20.   You can install the program yourself by copying the file T2.EXE and
  21. either CARD_16.EXE, CARD_EGA.EXE or CARD_256.EXE to your hard drive and
  22. then running them. They are self-extracting files.
  23. Copy the file CARD_16.EXE for VGA, CARD_EGA.EXE for EGA or CARD_256.EXE
  24. for SVGA. These compressed files contain files of identical names so
  25. extracting more than one will just overwrite the previous cards. In other
  26. words only extract the cards you want to use for any particular session.
  27. You will only have to re-extract the cards if you want to change the
  28. mode you will be operating in.
  29. Don't extract these files on the floppy as there is not enough room.

  31. NOTES:
  32.  
  33.   Read the file TAROT2.DOC once the program is installed for instructions
  34. on using TAROT 2. The file T2SW.EXE is the TAROT 2 program. (Shareware version)

  36.   Read the file REGISTER.DOC for information on registering to receive
  37. the complete package. This file will list what you will receive upon
  38. registering.
  39.  
  40.   This program may be freely distributed as long as all the files are
  41. included. All the files which should be included in this package are
  42. listed in TAROT2.DOC.
  43.  
  44.   Layout files (*.T) and spread files (*.SPR) from earlier versions of
  45. TAROT 2 will not work in version 2.1.

  47. CHANGES:
  48.  
  49.   Many changes have been made in this new version. Here are some of them:
  50.  
  51.         -Better and friendlier error handling.
  52.         -The ability to move groups of cards.
  53.         -The ability to move or deal cards even if they or the deck
  54.          are overlapped.
  55.         -The ability to delete files in the file selector box.
  56.         -The files in the file selector are ordered alphabetically.
  57.         -Confirmation request on overwriting or deleting files.
  58.         -Default extentions appended to saved files with no extentions
  59.          supplied.
  60.         -Better and more informative coordinate readout.
  61.         -many functions optimized for speed.
  62.         -Spiffed up a few misalignments in menus etc. (esp. in EGA)
  63.         -Title screen added.
  64.         -Backspace bug in editor fixed.
  65.         -The shareware version includes all functions except the ability
  66.          to save layouts and the ability to suppress the title screen.
  67.         -The shareware package includes the SVGA cards.
