- TRIVIAL PURSUIT ADDENDUM

- These are some general comments on the game, as well as some obscure
- problems which may arise. Hopefully you won't need to use it, but isn't
- it nice to know it's here?

- GENERAL COMMENTS
-
- Trivial Pursuit is bigger than it looks; this explains why it takes so
- long to load off of a floppy disk. For the sake of your sanity, you should
- either install it to your hard drive, or get in the habit of going to the
- refrigerator while the game is starting; while the latter approach works,
- it may cause you to put on a few pounds.
-
- The computer opponents are geared to specific areas of expertise. Thus
- you will find Deke to be very good in sports, but weak in other areas.
- Similar attributes apply to the others, with the exception of Arndt, who
- is truly ignorant, and Joe Average, who is well-rounded.
-
- The question files are read all the way through before repeating. This
- was intentional, since it will take many hours of gameplay to get repeats,
- and it was felt that it was better than getting repeats on the second or
- third playing of the game. Note, however, that if you turn off the computer
- in the middle of a game, the pointer file will not be updated, and you will
- go through the same questions you previously answered. ALWAYS EXIT THE GAME
- USING THE QUIT ON THE MENU PAGE!
-
- We hope you enjoy many hours of TRIVAL PURSUIT!
